Sonia Anderson

Sonia is the founder and Managing Director of Micropigmentation UK. In 2016, in a move designed to unite the UK industry and raise standards, Sonia established Micropigmentation UK and the Micropigmentation UK Conference and Awards.

A qualified micropigmentation practitioner and trainer with over 10years experience in the field. After completing her training in 2008 at Harley Street, London, Sonia established her first permanent makeup business, Sonia Anderson Permanent Makeup in, which she has run successfully for over 10years providing treatments and training across East Midlands.

Before embarking on her career in Micropigmentation, Sonia’s early career was spent in teaching, where for over ten years she taught beauty therapy to further education students. She is also a qualified Lecturer, Assessor, Internal Verifier. It is her this longstanding commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and desire to ensure the industry continues to grow in a positive way for all that is the driving force behind her vision for Micropigmentation UK.

David Thomas

David is co-founder of Micropigmentation UK and responsible for the management and coordination of the Micropigmentation Conference and Awards.  Although without any formal experience in micropigmentation, as the partner of Sonia, David has pretty much had to eat, drink and sleep micropigmentation and so has develop a good understanding of the industry.

With a background in Social Policy, Business Administration, Project and Event Management, David is well versed in delivering events of this nature and has a passion for developing special interest bodies and groups. David is responsible for sponsorship and exhibiting at Micropigmentation UK, so feel free to get in touch if you have any specific questions.

Nina Bernardini

Nina is a qualified beautician who has owned and run a successful beauty business for over 8 years. In 2013, in a move aimed at diversifying her portfolio, Nina made the transition to the world of micropigmentation and from her clinic in Nottingham has been providing a range of permanent make up treatments.
Conscientious and with an eye for detail, Nina is committed to improving her own practice and that of practitioners across the micropigmentation industry. So, when offered the opportunity to get involved in MPUK she considered it a simple decision and one that would enable her to make a personal contribution to this mission.
As the MPUK Awards Coordinator, Nina is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Individual and Industry Awards, including the recruitment and selection of judges, and providing support to the judging process.
